Are Bold Lips In Style?
Absolutely! While you can’t go wrong with classic neutral lip colors, bold lips are definitely on the rise for 2023. If you’re looking to make a statement, I definitely recommend the KVD Vegan Beauty shade Vivid Magenta! This bold fall lip color is ultra-pigmented while maintaining a sultry vibe. A shade that I didn’t feature above, but has been sitting in my cart, is Unconventional Babe by Valentino. Just like its title suggests, the color is a bit unconventional. It’s an electric purple that packs a punch, but I think it would be the perfect bold lip color for fall!
How Do I Find The Right Neutral Lipstick?
If you have brown skin, like myself, finding the right neutral lipstick can take some trial and error. A lot of shades simply blend into my skin, but that’s not what you want. When shopping for neutral lip colors, aim for a color that’s at least a shade or two deeper than your complexion; otherwise, you’ll be washed out. If you’re having trouble finding a shade that doesn’t wash you out, you can always add a lip liner to define the contrast.
What Are Fall Makeup Looks?
For me, a fall makeup look is all about the warmth it brings! I have oily skin, so I tend to really lean into matte products with just a few dewy items to help with some seasonal dry patches I get.
