Labor Day has come and gone and the first day of fall is just next week. Can you believe it?! Between Uriah turning 5 and starting kindergarten to Ezra turning one in just a few weeks, I feel like this year has flown by! And while I wish we could slow down time just a little bit, but as you know, that’s not possible. Anyways, as summer comes to an end, I’m excited for all things fall and have even started swapping out my closet for the season ahead now that the temperatures are getting a little cooler. 

Since it’s not quite cool enough out to be wearing jeans every day, dresses are always my go-to as I transition into fall. My go-to for fall transition dresses? Petal and Pup!

Taleen Long Sleeve Tie Mini Dress

I love that this dress combines the best of a shirt dress and the best of a wrap dress into one. The tie-waist detailing is SO flattering and I love the green and white color combination as we transition into fall. The second I saw this dress, I knew it would pair perfectly with my favorite green pumps but it’s also super easy to dress down with sneakers!

Bonita Shirred Frill Long Sleeve Bodycon Midi Dress

The perfect dress for all of the weddings, showers, and events you have on your calendar this fall! The long sleeves make it easy to transition into the new season without having to worry about a jacket and the smock detailing makes the dress so flattering. This one comes in a couple different color combinations but my favorite is definitely the sage green. It just screams fall! 

Lea Long Sleeve Mini Dress

Another really fun dress! I love that this one has a high neck but is balanced by a shorter skirt. I’ll be wearing this one on repeat for all of the date nights we have planned in the coming months, it’s that good! I find that it runs true to size, but make sure to reference the size chart, especially since the top isn’t adjustable like the other two. This is another dress that can be dressed up with heels, like I did, or down with sneakers, flat-heeled boots, or flats for more casual events.
