It’s been months in the making but Ezra’s nursery reveal is finally here! When we found out we were having a second baby, I knew I wanted to keep it neutral even after finding out it was a boy. Do you blame me though? I am (a self-proclaimed) the queen of neutrals! There’s just such a calming feeling when you enter the space and so many memories to make. Ezra’s nursery is definitely one of my favorite rooms in the house to spend time in and I love how it came together!
Baby Boy Nursery Reveal
When we started the design process, I knew I wanted to keep things simple, cozy, and practical. Mature, if you will. We started with the crib (here’s a similar one!), which is a big focal point in the room. With the upholstered sides, it’s really grabs your attention when you walk in and gives off major vintage European vibes! Above it, we hung this name sign which is so cute. If you’re attending a baby shower any time soon, I highly recommend it as a gift!
The Decor
Since we really leaned into the neutral theme, we added in this book shelf for contrast and filled it with storage solutions, lighting, and some toys. As Ezra gets older, we’ll be able to simply switch out what’s on the book shelf and update the storage solutions on it so it can grow with him.
We also took advantage of the small corners in the room and filled them with greenery, the sweetest rocking lamb, and a some other miscellaneous toys.
The Dresser & Changing Area
While Ezra’s room is a good size, I knew I didn’t want it to feel clustered so we opted to do a dresser/changing table duo. For this, we went with this dresser and added a changing table pad to the top. But, we all know that kids have a lot of stuff and to really make sure his room can grow with him, we also added this chest and this 6-drawer dresser to the space. Perfect for babies and teenagers! The color is also absolutely gorgeous and I am so impressed by the quality.
The Finishing Touches
To complete the nursery, we also added in a few finishing touches. The first is this chandelier! I love the chrome detailing and light bulbs. So chic. We also added these acrylic floating bookshelves to the room and this faux fur rug. It’s so cozy and soft, perfect for tummy time and playing on the floor! We also have this baby sound machine/night light in the room on the dresser. Not only does it provide soothing sounds and a night light (perfect for those late night diaper changes and feedings!), it also has a time to rise sleep trainer, which will definitely come in handy as he gets older!
