Date night is one of my favorite nights of the week. It’s Colton and I’s opportunity to spend quality time together without the kids and nurture our marriage. With the business of the holiday season, we’ve definitely been slacking on making date night a priority but we’re finally back in the swing of things. And what better way to celebrate the night than with a jaw-dropping dress?!
What to Wear on Date Night
I don’t know about you, but I’ll use any excuse I can get to get dressed up and put on a great pair of heels. Between working from home and chasing the kids around, I’m almost always in leggings so I always look forward to getting dressed for date night.
When I stumbled upon this black midi dress, I knew I had to have it for our upcoming date night. I’m such a sucker for a good dress with fun details, and it checked off both of those boxes. It definitely gives business in the front, party in the back vibes!
One of the things that drew me to this dress was the back. The open back and rhinestone detailing is absolutely stunning! I immediately hit add to cart even though I was a little nervous that it wouldn’t be as supportive as I normally like because of the open back and cut-out detailing on the sides. Boy, am I glad I was wrong! It fits like a glove and Colton loves the sexy detailing.
To finish off the look, I paired the dress with my favorite pumps from Christian Louboutin. I’m wearing the 120mm So Kate’s! If you’ve been thinking about investing in a pair yourself, I couldn’t recommend them enough. They’re a classic heel you’ll have for years to come. I do recommend sizing up to avoid pinching in the toe box! If a pair of Louboutin’s aren’t in the budget (totally get it!), I also love this pair. They’re sexy and perfect for date night this season!
