There is nothing more classic than a little black dress. They will always be in style and they’re so easy to dress up or down, depending on what you have going on. Between working from home and having little kids, these days my little black dresses are typically reserved for date nights and special occasions (weddings, anniversaries, travel) but isn’t stopping me from adding new ones to my wardrobe. With the warm weather on the horizon and spring wedding season just around the corner, I wanted to share the 3 little black dresses you need ASAP from MESHKI. They’re all under $100 and will be in constant rotation in my wardrobe this season!
3 Little Black Dresses You Need ASAP
Cut Out Knit Midi Dress
We are starting off with a bang! This cut out knit midi dress is sexy, it hits in all the right places, and is so comfortable. All things I look for in a dress, especially for date night! The key hole cut out in the front and the low gives this dress a one-of-a-kind design and makes me feel SO confident. If we take any trips this year, I’ll definitely be bringing this one with us! I find that it runs true to size but if you want a looser fit, I’d recommend sizing up! It also comes in white, which is perfect for summer and for all of my brides out there!
Halter Knit Midi Dress
By now, you know I’m a sucker for a good midi dress. I love that they accentuate my curves and make my legs look lean and long and this one is no exception! I love that it has an adjustable halted neck which makes it easy to get the perfect fit. It’s still sexy like the first dress, but shows a little less skin thanks to it’s higher neck. But don’t worry, the side cut outs and open back detailing still give you that va-va-voom confidence that the first dress gives. I love that idea of wearing this one with sneakers and a denim jacket on those cooler nights, too! Runs true to size but again, if you want a looser fit, size up.
Strapless Thigh Slit Mini Dress
When I first laid eyes on this dress, I knew I had to have it! Even though it’s considered a mini, it’s on the longer side, which I love and the thigh slit gives a sexy feel to this little black dress. It’s the perfect option for a romantic date night but I’ll definitely be wearing it to a wedding or two! Since it is strapless, it would be fun to dress it up with a fun necklace. I took my regular size in this but definitely read the size chart to make sure you get the perfect fit since the fabric is less stretchy than the other two.
Accessorizing Your LBD
When it comes to little black dresses an accessorizing, I always like to take a less is more approach. For me, this looks like a simple (but strappy) heel and a red lip. For jewelry, I keep things simple and wear my every day bracelets and rings, but add in a fun hoop. When I’m carrying a bag, I like to also keep that simple but if you’re someone who likes to make a statement, your shoes and handbag are your best options when it comes to accessorizing your LBD.
