Spring break is officially here which means I’m packing up my suitcase and we’re heading to the beach for the week! Whether you’re doing the same thing this week, or in the coming weeks, traveling with kids is always an adventure. To help stay on top of things, I love planning out my outfits in advance and packing early to help make the process easier and more enjoyable for everyone. If you’re in the same boat but have no idea what to pack for your upcoming spring break trip, today I’m sharing some spring break outfit ideas, plus everything I packed for our trip!
Spring Break Outfit Ideas
Graphic Tee & Jean Shorts
Whenever I have a beach vacation planned, a graphic tee and great pair of cut-off denim shorts are always in my suitcase! It’s a classic spring break outfit and perfect for chasing the kids around, heading down to the beach, grabbing lunch, or doing some shopping at local shops. There are so many brands that carry vintage-style graphic tees as of late, but this one from Altar’d State is a favorite of mine! These are also the best sandals to pull the look together.
Green Two-Piece Set
When I think of spring break, I immediately think about bright, bold colors. Since I use traveling as an excuse to buy an entirely new wardrobe (does anyone else do this??), I obviously had to do some searching to add some color to my wardrobe and came across this set. The crop top and high-rise pants are the perfect combo and the color is stunning! I’ll be wearing this with a pair of white sandals for dinner on a night when it’s cooler out. I think Gen Z would approve of this look, too!
Bathing Suit & Cover-Up
What’s a beach vacation without a cute bathing suit?! To continue the colorful vibe, I picked up this floral bathing suit and this cover-up. SHEIN truly has the best swimwear! The styles and pricing are so good and I love that they are great quality but are trendy at the same time. If you have a larger chest, I can’t recommend the fit of this bathing suit enough.
Matching Stripe Set
You didn’t think the green set would be the only one I brought with me on vacation, did you?! For daytime activities, I picked up this two-piece set and this matching crop blouse. I love that each piece can also be worn separately, which means more outfits and fewer clothes to pack for the trip.
Floral Top & Jeans
This combo is one of my favorites for spring, so it of course had to come with us on our vacation! While it is more casual, it’s an outfit that I feel good in and will definitely be wearing it out to dinner with the kids. And what better way to incorporate even more color into an outfit than with a fun pair of heeled sandals?! If you’re someone that loves a neutral wardrobe but wants to try to add more color into your outfits, adding a pop of color through a shoe is a great place to shop. For the top I’m wearing in this look, I love that I can wear it with a tank under neath when we go out as a family, but if I go out with the girls or on a date night, I could definitely wear it with sticky boobs and a skirt!
